Abstract:

1848 Revolutions of Europe was concerned with the Ottoman State too especially because of the revolutionOlls took place in Austiria. After the breaking out of revolts, the Ottoman statesman followed the events closely by their ambassadors in Europe. Particularly the situation of the people who lived in the Balkans tried to get under control. Straits, provinces in the Balkans and islands were taken in the nearest precautionary measure. If there was a need for recruitment or equipment in the army and also in the navy they were tried to be supplied. The castles and state of the roads, which were in need of repair, were fixed and tried to be fortified. The developments as well as the precautions in all of the Balkans and other places are dealt with in this article.
