Amaç: Çalışma sağlık hizmetleri meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin hemşirelik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırma tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmış ve çalışmaya iki devlet üniversitesinin 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında sağlık ön lisans programlarında öğrenim gören öğrenciler dahil edilmiştir. Veriler toplanmasında Tanımlayıcı Özellikler Bilgi Formu ve Hemşirelik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizde frekans ve yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma değerlendirmeleri yapılmış olup, verilerin özelliklerine göre Mann Whitney-U ve Kruskal-Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel karşılaştırmada anlamlılık değeri p<0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.44±2.01 olup çoğunluğu (%75.60) kadındır. Öğrencilerin %78.90’u lisans tamamlamayı, %72.90’u ise hemşirelik bölümünde lisans tamamlamayı düşündüğünü ifade etmiştir. Diyaliz programında okuyan öğrenciler ile ilerde hemşirelikte lisans tamamlamayı isteyen öğrencilerin hemşirelik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin Hemşirelik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’ne göre hemşirelik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarının (147.65±23.17) orta düzeyin üzerinde olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, sağlık hizmetleri meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin hemşirelik mesleğine ilişkin olumlu bir tutumları olduğu saptanmıştır. Hemşirelik hakkında daha fazla bilgi ve olumlu tutum arttıkça, öğrencilerin hemşirelik mesleğine daha fazla ilgi duyacağı görülmüştür.
Aim: The study was conducted in order to evaluate the attitudes of health services vocational school students towards the nursing profession. Method: The research was planned as descriptive and the students studying in the health associate degree programs of two state universities in the 2022-2023 academic year were included in the study. Descriptive Characteristics Information Form and Attitude towards Nursing Profession Scale were used to collect data. Frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation evaluations were made in statistical analysis, and Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used according to the characteristics of the data. In statistical comparison, the significance value was accepted as p<0.05. Results: The mean age of the students participating in the study was 20.44±2.01 and most of them (75.60%) were women. 78.90% of the students stated that they were considering completing a bachelor's degree, and 72.90% of them were considering completing a bachelor's degree in nursing. It has been determined that students studying in the dialysis program and students who want to complete a bachelor's degree in nursing in the future have higher attitudes towards the nursing profession. According to the Attitudes towards Nursing Profession Scale, students' attitudes towards the nursing profession (147.65±23.17) were found to be above the medium level. Conclusion: As a result, it was determined that health services vocational school students have a positive attitude towards the nursing profession. It has been observed that as more knowledge and positive attitudes about nursing increase, students will be more interested in the nursing profession.
