Lojistik sektörü her geçen yıl GSYIH içinde daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Ülkelerin lojistik sektöründe etkinlik ölçümü yapmaları, bu sektördeki düzeylerini ölçebilmeleri ve gerekli iyileştirmeleri yapabilmeleri için yol haritası sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ülkelerin rekabet avantajı sağlamalarında etkin rol oynayan lojistik sektörünün ülkeler bazında performansları veri zarflama analizi kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmada, seçilen 15 ülkenin 2016 yılına ait gümrük prosedürleri, altyapıları ve enerji kullanımları girdi olarak ele alınıp; Karbon Emisyonu, Lojistik Hizmet Kalitesi ve İş gücü oranı çıktı olarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre ‘etkin’ ve ‘etkinsiz’ ülkeler belirlenmiş, ‘etkinsiz’ ülkeler için potansiyel iyileştirme çalışmaları yapılmıştır.
The logistics sector is increasing importance in GDP every year. It provides a road map for countries to measure their performance in the logistics sector, to measure their levels in this sector and to make the necessary improvements. In this study, the performance of the logistics sector, which plays an effective role in providing the competitive advantage of the countries, is calculated using data coverage analysis. The study examined the customs procedures, infrastructures and energy uses of the 15 selected countries for 2016 as input; carbon emissions, logistics service quality and workforce ratio output. According to the study, the “active” and “no-active” countries have been identified, the “no-active” countries have been potentially improved.
