Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de okul yöneticilerinin yaşadığı yönetsel sorunları tespit etmektir. Araştırmada Türkiye’nin farklı illerinde görev yapan 116 okul müdüründen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile veriler elde edilmiş ve elde edilen veriler nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen içerik analizinde katılımcıların 69 farklı yönetsel sorun ortaya koyduğu saptanmıştır. Daha sonra bu sorunlar analiz edilmiş ve bu sorunların toplam sekiz farklı tema altında toplandığı görülmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda belirlenen temalar şunlardır; (1) öğrenci - veli tutum ve davranışları, (2) öğretmen tutum ve davranışları, (3) akademik sorunlar, (4) fiziki sorunlar, (5) ekonomik sorunlar, (6) planlama sorunları, (7) mesleki beceri sorunları ve (8) teknik sorunlar.
The aim of this study is to identify the administrative problems experienced by school administrators in Türkiye. In the study, data were obtained from 116 principals from different provinces of Türkiye via a semi-structured interview form, and the data obtained were analyzed by content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. The content analysis carried out revealed 69 different managerial problems. These problems were then analyzed and they were found to be gathered under eight different themes. The themes identified as a result of the research include; (1) student-parent attitudes and behaviours, (2) teacher attitudes and behaviours, (3) academic issues, (4) physical problems, (5) economic issues, (6) planning issues, (7) professional skills problems and (8) technical problems.
