Glass product is a material that is preferred due to its health conditions and hygiene suitability, which can be recycled without damaging the environment. Glass production affects the ecosystem in two ways, like all production. These are environmental pollution caused by the consumption of natural resources and the production process due to the obtaining of raw materials from nature. Today, products that are not consumed and not divided after consumption as a result of increasing production are both harmful to the ecosystem as waste and economically cause waste. Because the glass is a 100% recyclable material, all products that are not considered waste are environmentally and economically losing. This study first evaluated the glass in terms of "sustainable development" and discussed the effects of production and consumption during this process. The consumption waste that can be used in the product development for the artist and designer, and their recycling as an art and design object, was then evaluated by the studies that would be a example in terms of cold and hot glass shaping techniques.
