Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the ethical decision-making attitudes of students according to certain variables (gender, age group, sports experience, whether or not they have a club license and whether parents have a licensed sports history). The study group consists of 44,7% (180) women and 55,3% (223) men and 403 athletes in the age categories of small (five and sixth class students), stars (eighth and eighth class students), B young (eighth and tenth class students) and A young (eighth and twelfth class students) who participate in school sports at high school and high school levels. Lee and Ark. The “Attitudes to Moral Decision Making in Youth Sport Questionnaire” (AMDYSQ) was developed by Gürpınar in 2007 and the “Attitudes to Moral Decision Making in Youth Sport Questionnaire” (Attitudes to Moral Decision Making in Youth Sport Questionnaire) was used. The research data was analyzed with the SPSS 13.0 program. According to some variables, Kruskal Wallis and Man Whitney U tests have been used to determine whether there are differences in student athletes’ moral decision-making attitudes. As a result, the variables such as gender, age category, sports experience, having a club license, and making a licensed sport by parents have been found to be meaningful in the sub-dimensions of the "Ethical decision-making attitude scale in infrastructure sports".

As a result, it was found that variables such as gender, age category, sports experience, club license and parents doing licensed sports were significant in the Moral Decision-Making Attitudes Scale in Infrastructure Sports” sub-dimensions.
