Abstract:

Based on the proximity between economies to investigate the validity of economic growth theories, it demonstrates the importance of the income distribution of the provinces. In this study, which was studied by the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV) with the data calculated by night lights per person and the data calculated by traditional methods and compared with the data calculated by traditional methods. Space analysis is implemented in the model prediction. The model is created under the hypotheses of absolute and conditional proximity by adding additional variables such as imports, exports and populations, the spatial Durbin, spatial delayed and spatial error models are predicted using the maximum probability (ML) method. The appropriate model is determined using the Wald test. According to the findings obtained; according to the analysis of both sets of data, the existence of close-up between the income conditions of the provinces has been identified.
