Araştırmanın amacı, ilkokullarda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin zekâ oyunları dersi programında olan mangala oyunu hakkındaki görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması modeli kullanılarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Sakarya ili Sapanca ilçesinde görev yapan ve araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 20 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini toplamak için amacına uygun olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilip tablolar halinde raporlaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda sınıf öğretmenleri mangala kavramının “oyun ve eğlenme aracı olduğunu”, Mangala oyunun öğrencilerin “zihinsel ve sosyal gelişim alanlarına” daha fazla katkı sunduğunu, Mangala oyunun öğrencilerin “saygı ve adalet değerleri ile problem çözme ve yaratıcılık becerilerini” geliştirdiğini, Mangala oyun sürecinde en büyük problemin “fiziki yetersizlikler” olduğunu ve Mangala oyununun en çok “Matematik” dersi ile ilişkili olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.
The aim of the research is to examine the opinions of classroom teachers working in primary schools about the mangala game, which is in the intelligence games course program. The research was designed using the case study model, one of the qualitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of 20 classroom teachers working in Sapanca district of Sakarya province in the 2023-2024 academic year and participating in the research voluntarily. In the study, a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers in accordance with its purpose was used to collect the opinions of classroom teachers. The collected data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method and reported in tables. In line with the findings obtained as a result of the research, classroom teachers; The concept of mangala "is a tool for play and entertainment", mangala game contributes more to students' "mental and social development areas", mangala game develops students' "values of respect and justice, problem solving and creativity skills", the biggest problem in the mangala game process is "physical It has been revealed that there are "deficiencies" and that the mangala game is most related to the "Mathematics" course.
