Abstract:

Children can be expressed as the most vulnerable being in a society, which should be protected and protected. Children can give different reactions and reactions to events that they cannot perceive or understand, their daily routines are disrupted, and this may result in psychological injuries to them. The problems experienced by children during disasters do not only remain in the moment, but also cause them to experience problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder. This situation requires intervention. However, before the intervention, it will be very important to consider how children evaluate the phenomenon of disaster according to the periods, in terms of shaping the intervention to be made. In this context, in this study, it is aimed to examine the attitudes of children towards disaster and to raise awareness about what needs to be done, especially the earthquake, which was a natural disaster on February 6, 2023.
