Araştırmanın amacı, pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik davranış ve düşüncelerinin cinsiyete göre incelenmesidir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmanın alt amaçları şunlardır: Pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik davranış düzeyleri cinsiyete göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmakta mıdır? Pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik düşünce düzeyleri cinsiyete göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmakta mıdır? Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem grubunda basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle 159 (%72,6) kadın, 60 (%27,4) erkek olmak üzere 219 yetişkin çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada ölçme aracı, öğrenciler tarafından bireysel olarak doldurulmuştur. Veri analizi yöntemi olarak Bağımsız Gruplar için T Testi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik davranış düzeyleri cinsiyete göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılık göstermemektedir. Çevresel düşünme açısından örneklem grubunda cinsiyete göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı düzeyde farklılık belirlenmiştir. Erkek öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik düşünme düzeylerinin kadın öğrencilere göre daha yüksek düzeyde olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Sonraki araştırmalarda, daha geniş bir örneklem grubuyla cinsiyetin yanı sıra meslek, medeni durum, çocuk sahibi olma/olmama gibi değişkenlerle birlikte inceleme yapılabilir.
The purpose of the study is to study the behavior and thoughts of students who receive pedagogical formation according to gender. In this regard, the sub-objectives of the research are: Are the environmental behavior levels of students who receive pedagogical formation statistically significantly different from gender to gender? Are the levels of environmental thinking of students who receive pedagogical formation statistically significantly different from gender to gender? Relational scan method was used in the research. The sample group included 159 adults, including women (72.6 percent) and men (60 percent (27.4 percent) with a simple random sample method. The environmental attitude measurement has been used as a data collection tool. The measurement tool in research is filled individually by students. The test technique for independent groups is used as a method of data analysis. According to the findings of the study, the environmental behavior levels of students who receive pedagogical formation education do not show significant statistical differences from gender to gender. In terms of environmental thinking, the sample group has determined a significant statistical level of differences according to gender. It has been found that male students have higher levels of environmental thinking than female students. In subsequent studies, a broader sample group can be studied along with the variables of gender as well as the profession, civil status, having/not having children.
The purpose of this research is to investigate the thinking and the behaviors of the students attending pedagogical teacher certificate program about the environment according to their gender. In this sense, the research questions were constructed as below: Do the level of students’ behaviors towards environment change statistically according to their gender? Do the thinking levels of students about environment change statistically according to their gender? Relational screening model was used for the study. A total of 219 participants were included in the study of whom 159 (72.6%) were women, 60 (27.4%) were men. As a data collection tool, Environmental Attitude Scale was used for the study. Students fulfilled the scale individually. Independent samples t-test was used to analyze the data. Findings indicated that there is not a statistical difference between the levels of students’ behaviors towards environment according to their gender.. However, there is a statistical difference between the thinking levels of students about environment according to their gender. Men have a higher level of thinking about the environment than women have. In later studies, a larger sample can be examined with variables such as occupation, marital status, having/not having children, as well as gender.
