Aziz Nesin, son dönem Türk edebiyatının hemen her türünde eser vermiş en velud yazarlarından biridir. Muhafazakar bir ailede dünyaya gelse de zamanla yaşadıklarının etkisi ve düşünce dünyasındaki değişmelerle inancını kaybetmiştir. Görüşlerini hemen her ortamda, her şekilde cesurca dile getiren Nesin, ateist olduğunu açıkça ilan etmekten geri durmamıştır. Nesin’in inançsızlığı doğal olarak eserlerinde de derin yankılar bulmuştur. Nesin, bütün çalışmalarında hem doğrudan hem de dolaylı olarak okurlarına düşüncelerini aktarmak istemiştir. Özellikle, bazı çalışmalarının sonunda Dede Korkut tarzı öğüt ve tavsiyeleri oldukça dikkat çekicidir. Çalışmada, hikâye, şiir ve röportajlarından yola çıkılarak Nesin’in eserlerinde ateizmin dayanakları incelenmektedir. Ateizmin tanımı ve çeşitlerine dair kısa bir girişten sonra Nesin’in hayatı ve düşünce yapısı muhtasaran verilmektedir. Nesin’in eserleri ve alan yazın taramasından elde edilen nitel veriler dökumanter analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışma, Nesin düşüncesinde din ve ahiret tasavvurları kapsamında ateizme dair yansımaları tespitle sınırlıdır. Araştırmanın sonucunu, Nesin’in eserlerinde yer alan din ve ahiret karşıtı söylemlerin daha ziyade pratik ideolojik ateizm sınırlarında dolaştığı şeklinde özetlemek mümkündür. O, toplumda gördüğü ahlaksızlık, iki yüzlülük, menfaatçılık, sömürü ve yolsuzluk gibi temel sorunları çoğunlukla dine mal ederek çözümü ateist olmakla bulmuş gibi görünmektedir. Nesin, eserlerinde felsefi bağlamda teorik bir ateizm oluşturmak kaygısı gütmemiştir.
Saint Nesin is one of the most well-known writers of almost all kinds of Turkish literature in the last period. Although he was born in a conservative family, he lost his belief with the influence of what he lived with time and the changes in the world of thought. Nessin, who expressed his opinions in every environment, in every way, has not ceased to clearly declare that he is an atheist. The unbelief of Nesin naturally found profound discourse in his works. The object wanted to transmit his thoughts to the readers both directly and indirectly in all his works. Especially, at the end of some studies, Dedek Horror style tips and advice are quite remarkable. In the study, the story, the poem and the interviews are based on the foundations of atheism in Nesin's works. After a short introduction to the definition and varieties of atheism, the life and thought structure of Nesin is given to the explanation. The works of Nesin and the quality data obtained from the summer scan of the field have been subjected to documentary analysis. The study is limited to the discovery of the reflections of the ateism in the context of the religion and the life of the world. The conclusion of the study is possible to summarize in the way that the anti-religious and anti-Earth speeches in Nesin's works are more practical than the boundaries of the ideological atheism. He appears to have found the solution to the fundamental problems he sees in society, such as immorality, twisting, profit, exploitation and corruption, mostly by spending on religion by being atheist. He was not concerned about creating a theoretical atheism in his works in a philosophical context.

Nesin, who bravely expressed his views in almost every environment and in every way, did not hesitate to openly declare that he was an atheist. Naturally, Nesin's unbelief found deep repercussions in his works. Nesin wanted to convey his thoughts to his readers both directly and indirectly in all his works. Especially, the Dede Korkut style advice and suggestions at the end of some of his works are quite striking.
