Abstract:

With the globalization flow that emerged in the 1980s, in fact, as a paradox, the localization phenomenon has also accelerated, but the policies prepared from center to local have begun to be prepared from local to center, and thus the importance of the localization phenomenon has increased over time. In addition, the term development, which contains complex structures in its essence, has also begun to move towards local sense from the national sense today. In the local sense, the concept of development means, in the simplest way, that local actors are in harmony and cooperation with each other, and that local resources are used in the most efficient way possible to create maximum added value. Actors involved in local development are ranked as municipalities, provincial private administrations, universities, regional development agencies and civil society organizations and professional organizations. The focus of the study is the trade and industrial rooms with trade exchanges from professional organizations. The aim of the study is to determine the perceptions of the members of the council of the trade and industrial chambers of the trade and trade exchanges operating in Çanakkale regarding the local level of development of Çanakkale. In this context, the trade exchanges and trade and industrial rooms that are operating in Çanakkale are the scope of this work. In the study, the survey method was used in the collection of data, the frequency analysis was applied to the collected data and a set of detections and recommendations were made to ensure local development of the Çanakkale province.
