İklim değişikliği yaklaşık çeyrek asırdır birçok uzman tarafından üzerinde ciddi olarak çalışılan önemli bir problemdir. Periyodik yapılan toplantılar, ülkeler arası yapılan anlaşmalar, yayınlanan raporlar, protokol metinleri uluslararası düzeyde kapsamlı bir mevzuatı meydana getirmiştir. Konuya ilişkin çabalar iki yönlüdür. Bu çabaların bir kısmı olumsuz yönde gelişen iklim değişikliği başka bir ifade ile küresel ısınma ile mücadele yönündedir ki bu çabalardan sonuç alınması yüzyıllarla ifade edilen uzun bir süre gerektirmektedir. Bu nedenle uluslararası toplum, bu çabalardan ikincisi olan iklim değişikliğine uyum çalışmalarını da eş zamanlı olarak yürütmektedir. Her iki çabadan da maksimum düzeyde sonuç alabilmek için iklimi etkileyen ana faktörler ile olası sonuçlarının gerçekçi bir şekilde belirlenmesi gerekir. Bu yönde yapılan çalışmalar, etkin faktörler ile sonuçların birbirini tetiklediğini göstermektedir. Bu etkenler, artan enerji ihtiyacının giderilmesi başta olmak üzere denizcilik, ormancılık, tarım ve hayvancılık gibi insan faaliyetleri olarak sıralanabilir. Bu etkenlerin tamamı aynı zamanda iklim değişikliğinden en çok etkilenen unsurlardır. Bu çalışmada, bu etkenlerin iklim değişikliğini nasıl etkilediğini literatürdekibilimsel çalışmalardan alıntılar yapılarak gösterilmiş, aynı şekilde iklim değişiminin de bu etkenleri nasıl etkilediği gösterilmiştir. Yani bu sürecin nasıl işlediği, bilimsel çalışmalarla derlenip, yorumlar yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın gerek iklim değişikliğini azaltma, gerek iklim değişikliğine uyum stratejilerinin geliştirilmesi çabalarına bir nebze ışık tutması umulmaktadır.
Climate change is a major problem that has been seriously studied by many experts for about a quarter of a century. Periodic meetings, international agreements, published reports, protocol texts have created a comprehensive international legislation. The efforts on the subject are two-way. Some of these efforts are focused on the negative climate change, in other words on the fight against global warming, which requires a long time to get the result of these efforts, which has been expressed by centuries. Therefore, the international community also simultaneously carries out its efforts to adapt to climate change, the second of these efforts. In order to get the maximum results from both efforts, the main factors affecting the climate and the possible results must be realistically determined. Studies in this direction show that the effective factors and the results interact with each other. These factors can be classified as human activities, such as maritime, forestry, agriculture and livestock. All of these factors are also the elements most affected by climate change. This study demonstrates how these factors affect climate change by citations from literary studies, and also shows how climate change affects these factors. So how this process is processed, scientific studies have been compiled and commented. This study is hoped to keep a light on the efforts to reduce climate change and develop strategies to adapt to climate change.
