Bu çalışmada herhangi bir maliyetleme sisteminin olmadığı bir üretim işletmesinde hem geleneksel üç aşamalı maliyetleme sistemi hem de Faaliyete Dayalı Maliyetleme (FDM) sistemi uygulanmış, elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılarak yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre, işletmenin tüm faaliyetlerinin “birim seviye” faaliyet seviyelerinden oluşmasından dolayı her iki sistemin sonuçları da birbirine yakın çıkmıştır. Böylece FDM sisteminin maliyetler üzerinde parti ve mamul faaliyet seviyelerinde etkili olduğu, ama birim faaliyet seviyesinde farklı bir sonuç vermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, both traditional three-stage costing system and Activity Based Costing (ABC) system have been applied in a manufacturing business where any cost systems exists, and the results are compared and interpreted. According to the data obtained as a result of the study, the results of both systems are close to each other, since all activities of the enterprise consist of “unit level” activity levels. Thus, it has been concluded that the FDM system is effective on costs at the batch and product activity levels but does not give a different result at the unit activity level.
