Bu çalışmanın amacı; beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören kız Araştırmanın örneklemi, Selçuk Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu ile Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören 76 kız öğrenciden oluşmuştur. İlk olarak araştırmanın amacına yönelik literatür taraması sistematik olarak yapılmış daha sonra Halbreich ve Endicott (1982) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Türkçeye Dereboy ve arkadaşları (1994) tarafından çevrilmiş, geçerlik ve güvenilirlik çalışması yapılmış Premenstrüel Sendrom Ölçeği (PMSÖ) tesadüfi örneklem yoluyla Selçuk Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu ve Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören 76 kız öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ve hesaplanmış değerlerin bulunmasında SPSS (Statistical package for social sciences) paket programı kullanılmış ve ölçeğin güvenilirlik katsayısı (Cronbach Alpha) 0. 76 bulunmuştur. Araştırma bulgularına göre; beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilerinin premenstrüel dönemlerinde kendilerini üzgün, yorgun, sinirli, eklem ağrısı, tatlı yeme isteği ve vücutta şişkinlik hissi yaşadıkları saptanmıştır
