Abstract:

One of the elements that show the righteousness in religious-political-social discussions is that the issue is addressed by the source of the issue. It is possible to see this situation only in the first generations concerning the Sahabe today. It is the first time that the people of the world have had a great deal of interest in the world, and the first time that the people of the world have had a great deal of interest in the world, the first time that the people of the world have had a great deal of interest in the world. His view on the zakat of the rich, his comment on the kenz verse, his discussion with Muâviye, his call to Medina by the Khalifa Osman (r.a.) and his expulsion to Rebez, and eventually his death here, many of them have been mentioned in the sources on the occasion of the issues such as his death. It is enough to even look at the headlines of the books and articles written about how the attitude that Ebû Zer had to face these matters, how it was linked to the ideological and social events of the last century. When it comes to Ebû Zer, it is extremely noticeable that it comes into issues such as labour, property, capital, private property, the agenda of concepts such as Islamic socialism and Marxism, it is presented as an anti-capitalism person, it is said of its "revolutionary" nature. The subject of this article is to discuss whether the information contained in the sources about it is sufficient to point out the claims on this issue. This will also be done with the comparative analysis of some of the popular works written in recent times.

Abstract:

The exceptional charisma of the companions (the sahabah) is not only a case of the past generations but also a case of the modern society. In this sense, Abu Dhar Al Ghifari, whose name was mentioned on various occasions, may be considered as one of the remarkable examples. In the sources, his name was mentioned through his view on the zakat of the rich, his interpretation of the ayat al-Kanz, his dispute with Muawiyah, his summon to Medina by the Khalifa Uthman, his exile in Rebeze where eventually he passed away. It is quite significant to mention subjects like labour, private property, capital, Islamic socialism and Marxism while mentioning him and also to present him as an opponent of capitalism and as a revolutionist. To be able to grasp how his view of these particular subjects are associated with the social and ideological events of the last century, it would be sufficient to take a look at the titles of the books and articles written about him. The subject of this article is to discuss the information available in the sources whether they are enough to assert opinion in this issue. This too will be done by comparing some popular sources written in the recent years.
