AMAÇ: Annelerin çocukları ile ilişkilerini,çocukların baba ve kardeşleri ile ilişkilerini,annelerin şiddeti algılayış biçimleri ve uygulayıp uygulamadıklarını, uyguluyorlarsa nedenlerini belirlemek ve kendi çocukluk dönemleri ile belirlemektir. GEREÇ-YÖNTEM: Niteliksel olarak düzenlenen bu araştırma verileri derinlemesine görüşmeler yoluyla toplanmıştır.İstanbul’da Aralık 2014 tarihinde bir Aile Sağlığı Merkezi’ne başvuran 39 anne ile görüşülmüştür. Veriler tematik yöntemle analiz edilmiştir. BULGULAR: Annelere öncelikle çocukları ile ilişkilerinin nasıl olduğu sorulmuş, annelerin büyük bir kısmı çocukları ile ailenin diğer bireylerine göre daha yakın ilişkiler içinde olduğunu belirtirken,en çok zıtlaşmayı da yine kendilerinin yaşadığını belirtmişlerdir.Evde çatışmayaçok yol açan sebepler ise kardeşler arası anlaşmazlıklar,çocukların beslenme,uyku ve eğitimleriyle ilgili çıkardıkları problemler olarak sıralanmıştır. SONUÇ: Sonuç olarak araştırmaya katılan annelerin çoğunluğunun çocuklarına bir terbiye yöntemi olarak fiziksel şiddet uygulayabildikleri ve bunun çocukta yaratabileceği gelişimsel sorunların yeterince farkında olmadıkları gözlemlenmiştir. The aim is to determine the relationships of mothers with their children, the relationships of children with their fathers and brothers, the ways in which mothers perceive violence and whether they do not apply or not, and to determine their causes if they do, and to determine by their own childhood periods. Need-Method: Qualitatively organized this research data has been collected through deep discussions.In Istanbul, in December 2014, 39 mothers were consulted with a family health center. The data is analyzed by a thematic method. BULGULS: The mothers were first asked how their relationships with their children were, the majority of the mothers said they were in closer relationships with their children and the family’s other individuals, while the most contradictory they also said they were experiencing themselves. The causes of conflict at home are brothers and sisters’ disputes, the problems that children have with regard to their nutrition, sleep and education. The result was that the majority of the mothers who participated in the study were able to use physical violence to their children as a method of education and were not sufficiently aware of the developmental problems that this could cause in the child.
