Küreselleşme tehlikesi karşısında milletlerin kültürel yanıtlarının her zamankinden daha önemli olduğu bu dönemde, Türkmen Kahramanlık Destanı Göroğlu -İnceleme-Metin- adını taşıyan kitap, okurun dikkatini Türk kültür evreninin mihenk taşlarından biri olan Köroğlu’na çekme iddiası taşımaktadır. Eser, Denizli Yöresinden Derlenmiş Masallar (2008), Başkurt Türklerinin Destanı İdigey ile Moradım (2017) gibi kitaplarıyla tanıdığımız ve Türk Halk Bilimi alanında çalışmalarını sürdürmekte olan Prof. Dr. Mustafa ARSLAN’ın yeni kitabıdır. Mustafa Arslan tarafından, Ege Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Anabilim Dalı Halkbilimi programı bünyesinde hazırlanmış olan Köroğlu Destanı’nın Türkmen Versiyonu Üzerinde Mukayeseli Bir İnceleme başlıklı doktora tezinin kitaplaştırılmış şekli olan bu çalışma, Prof. Dr. Fikret Türkmen danışmanlığında yürütülmüş ve 1997 yılında tamamlanmıştır.
In this period, when the cultural responses of the nations are more important than ever, the Turkmen Heroic Destani Göroğlu -Investigation-Metin- is a book that claims to attract the attention of the reader to Köroğlu, one of the stones of the Turkish cultural universe. Eser is the new book of Prof. Dr. Mustafa ARSLAN, who is working in the field of Turkish People's Science, which we know with books such as Destanı İdigey and Moradım of Başkurt Turks (2008), and the new book of Prof. Dr. Mustafa ARSLAN, who is working in the field of Turkish People's Science. This study, which was prepared by Mustafa Arslan, the University of Ege, the Institute of Social Sciences, the Turkish Language and Literature Anabilim Dali Programme of Folk Sciences, is a booked form of the doctoral thesis on the Turkmen Version of Köroğlu Destanı, which was conducted under the consultation of Prof. Dr. Fikret Türkmen and completed in 1997.
