İtalyan Çimi (Lolium multiflorum L.) Çeşitlerine Ait Tohumların Bazı Fiziksel Özelliklerinin Belirlenmesi

Son yıllarda üreticilerin çim ve yem bitkilerine olan ilgisinin artması nedeniyle, bu bitkiler ile ilgili çalışmalar da artış göstermiştir. Bu bitkilerinin pek çok özelliği incelenmesine rağmen, bitkilerin tohumlarına ait fiziksel özellikleriyle ilgili yeterli araştırma bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışma, 2016-2017 yılları arasında yürütülmüştür. Bitkisel materyal olarak; yem bitkileri tohumlu ğ u ticareti yapan kurulu ş lardan 6 farklı İtalyan çimi (Lolium multiflorum L.) bitki çeşidi (Caramba, Efe-82, Pollanum, Rambo, Trinova ve Vespolini) temin edilmiş ve kullanılmı ş tır. Bu tohumlara ait bazı fiziksel (şekil-boyut, yüzey alanı, ortalama geometrik çap, ortalama aritmetik çap, küresellik ve bin dane ağırlığı) özellikler incelenmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre; tohumların yüzey alanı değerlerinin 1.65 mm2 ve 2.38 mm2; ortalama geometrik çap değerlerinin 3.45 mm ve 5.47 mm; ortalama aritmetik çap değerlerinin 1.84 mm ve 2.14 mm; küresellik değerlerinin 1.14 mm ve 1.55 mm ve bin dane ağırlığı değerlerinin 1.92 g ve 5.06 g arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca TOTEMSTAT programı kullanılarak korelasyon analizi yapılmış, çıkan sonuçlara göre incelenen özellikler arasında olumlu ve önemli ilişkiler bulunduğu belirlenmiştir.

Identification of certain physical characteristics of seeds of Italian grass (Lolium multiflorum L.)

Abstract:

Due to the increased interest of farmers in grass and feed plants in recent years, studies on these plants have also increased. Although many of the properties of these plants have been studied, there is not enough research on the physical properties of the seeds of the plants. This study was conducted between 2016-2017 years. As a vegetable material, 6 different Italian grass (Lolium multiflorum L.) plant varieties (Caramba, Efe-82, Pollanum, Rambo, Trinova and Vespolini) are supplied and used by the board of food plants. Some physical characteristics of these seeds (form-size, surface area, average geometric diameter, average arithmetic diameter, globality and a thousand dams weight) have been studied. According to the data obtained, the surface area values of the seeds were 1.65 mm2 and 2.38 mm2; the average geometric diameter values were 3.45 mm and 5.47 mm; the average arithmetic diameter values were 1.84 mm and 2.14 mm; the globality values were 1.14 mm and 1.55 mm and the weight of a thousand dams varied between 1.92 g and 5.06 g. In addition, the correlation analysis was conducted using the TOTEMSTAT program, and it was determined that there were positive and important relationships between the characteristics studied according to the outcome results.
