Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020 because of the rate of spread of the virus and its impact on human health. The COVID-19 outbreak is one of the most challenging health problems the world has faced since World War II. Although the disease spread worldwide, COVID-19’s epidemiological and clinical patterns in pediatric patients remain unclear. Healthcare providers require more epidemiological and clinical trials on pediatric patients to identify possible preventive and therapeutic strategies. Evaluating the impact of COVID-19 on children will not only make pandemic models more predictable but also help direct limited resources to children in need of care. Pediatric nurses should be able to monitor the effects of the COVID-19 crisis on children and meet the health care needs of this vulnerable group. In this review, the current literature on the effect of COVID 19 on children is examined. Yardımcı F, Yüksel D. COVID-19’s Impact on Children. J Educ Res Nurs.
