Abstract:

The importance of Turkish education for foreigners in our country is increasing every day. There are different practices related to the use of common curriculum materials, the determination of appropriate methods and techniques. Each book prepared for the teaching of Turkish to foreigners reflects a different approach, language understanding, teaching technique. The aim of this study is to evaluate the Turkish teaching books to foreigners from the point of view of the existence of speech and phrase. For this, a B2 level book and a language teaching set are scanned. In this context, it was worked on a CD that contains two lessons and a workbook with listening texts. Thus, listening texts, reading texts and activities are studied in terms of speech and expression teaching. The important thing when teaching foreigners Turkish is not just remembering the meaning of the words. You must learn the meaning of the words in all. It is very important that the phrase and phrase are included in the texts and events in adopting the function in which the word can gain new meanings by becoming a word in the phrase.
