Abstract:

Financial literature, called the management of the income and expenditure of individuals, their investments and savings, is a complex process that has great importance both in individual and social terms. Financial literature, which plays an important role in the development of financial awareness and savings habits in society, is today on the agenda of the whole world because the savings and entrepreneurship rates have also increased in countries where financial literature is increasing. This situation has revealed the idea that it is necessary to organize financial training programs to improve the level of financial literature. First of all, the concept of financial literature is considered to be more effective for the education that will be given to identify the level of financial literature of individuals in different geographics, researched among different groups. In this study, the investigation of the relevant research in Turkey aimed at determining the level of financial literature was attempted to determine the level of financial literature of university students. When trying to determine this level, the financial reader-writer was only examined by the general lines. Examples were created randomly, the data used in the research was obtained through the survey.
