OSMANLI BASININDA TRABLUSGARP SAVAŞI: DONANMA MECMUASI ÖRNEĞİ Özet: İtalya, geç de olsa milli birliğini tamamladıktan sonra diğer Avrupalı devletler gibi sömürgecilik faaliyetlerine girişmiştir. Bu doğrultuda gözüne kestirdiği ilk yer de Osmanlı Devleti’nin Kuzey Afrika’daki son toprağı olan Trablusgarp olmuştur. İtalya, Trablusgarp’a karşı bir harekete geçmeden önce gerekli diplomatik adımları atarak diğer Avrupalı devletlerin de bu konuda desteğini sağlamıştır. İtalya, diplomatik girişimlerden sonra 28 Eylül 1911 tarihinde Osmanlı Devleti’ne 24 saatlik bir nota vererek Trablusgarp’ı işgal edeceğini bildirmiştir. İtalya verdiği 24 saatlik notanın süresi daha dolmadan 29 Eylül’de Osmanlı Devleti’ne savaş ilan etmiştir. Trablusgarp savaşına Osmanlı kamuoyu ve basını hemen tepki göstermiştir. Dönemin birçok mecmua ve gazetesi bu konuya yer vermiş ve tepkilerini ortaya koymuştur. Donanma Mecmuası’da tepkisiz kalmayarak bu savaşa sütunlarında genişçe yer vermiştir. Mecmuada Trablusgarp’ın elden çıkmasında daha çok hangi faktörlerin etkili olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Donanma, Mecmua, Trablusgarp, Basın. TRİPOLİ WAR İN THE OTTOMAN PRES: NAVY JOURNAL OF EXAMPLE Abstract: Although it was late compared to other European powers after completing its unification, Italy began to work for a colonial expansion. In order to set up a colony, Italy aimed to annex Tripolitania, which was the last piece of land of Ottoman Empire in North Africa at the time.Before starting an invasion, Italy established nessesary diplomatic relations and gained support of European countries. A 24 hour-ultimatum was presented to the Ottoman government on 28 September, 1911 declaring that Italy is going to seize control of Tripolitania. However, Italy declared war on Ottoman Empire on 29 september before the 24-hour ultimatum expire. Public opinion and press in the Ottoman Empirereacted against the invasion quickly. In war period, many magazines and newspapers published many articles showing their reaction against the invasion. Ottoman Navy magazine also didn't remain unresponsive and the war took a large place in its articles and columns. The magazine emphasized which factors caused the loss of Tripolitania. TRABLUSGARP WAR: DONANMA MECMUAS Example Summary: Italy, after completing its national unity, has entered into colonial activities like other European states. The first place to see in this direction was Trablusgarp, the last land of the Ottoman State in North Africa. Italy has taken the necessary diplomatic steps before taking a move against Trablusgarp and has provided support from other European states in this regard. After diplomatic attempts, Italy announced that it would occupy Trablusgarp by giving the Ottoman State a 24-hour note on 28 September 1911. Italy declared war on the Ottoman state on September 29 before the 24 hour note was completed. The Ottoman public and the press immediately reacted to the Trablusgarp war. Many journalists and journalists of the time have exposed and revealed their reactions to this issue. In the Navy Mecmuasi, without a reaction, this war was placed widely in the columns.
