Abstract:

Frigya and M.E. It is the name given to the area where the Frig civilization, which continued to exist in the 7th century, has lived today, covering Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, the entire province of Eskişehir and part of the province of Kütahya. Frigler, the subject of famous legends, established a bright civilization according to his time. The Frigya Region hosts important historical and tourist values that have reached to date. Ecotourism is a conservative, educational and sustainable tourism activity that preserves the natural and cultural heritage, which aims to the development of the local people. The way of making the ecosystem characteristics eco-tourism opportunities in recent years has developed the environmental tourism awareness, a lot has been taken in the protection of the environment and the sustainable use of natural resources. In this context, many areas with high eco-tourism potential are continuing to be granted to tourism. This study aims to identify the potential of eco-tourism of the remaining part of the region of Mount Frigya within the borders of the Afyonkarahisar or Ihsaniye district, to become an eco-tourism area at national and international level. Ecotourism can be a good tool for the protection and management of the Mountains of Frigya. Not to damage the mountain Frigya ecosystem, ecoturism activities should be the main point of movement when performed. This is a good plan that can be done. If the target work is carried out, the site is expected to be an important eco-tourism area at national and international level.
