Purpose: The triple test is the second trimester screening test used in scanning birth anomalies such as nerve tube defects that may occur in the baby during pregnancy, Down syndrome and Trizomi 18. The Internet is a source that patients often use to better understand the medical processes. This study is aimed at determining the levels of readability of websites on the triple test. The Internet search engine has reached a total of 200 websites in a search using the keywords "three-test" and "three-screen test" in Google. Sites containing less than ten sentences of information, chat, forum sites have been disabled. The readability levels were calculated using Fireman and Bezirci-Yılmaz formulas. Results: 33 websites were found suitable for evaluation after the implementation of the exclusion criteria. Of these, 54.5 percent were private clinics, 33.3 percent were websites and 9.09 percent were websites belonging to private laboratories. The level of readability of the websites is found to be in the middle of difficulty according to the Fireman formula (57.6); according to the Bezirci-Yılmaz formula, it is at the license level (12.27). Many of the texts contained information about the definition of the triple test, the time of application and the interpretation of the test. However, it appeared that these texts did not mention enough of the situations that caused the wrong positive. The result: Information texts related to the triple test on websites have been found to have a low level of readability. For the revision of the existing information texts in terms of readability and content, it has been established that effective biochemical associations and health institutions should cooperate in this regard.
