Abstract:

Since the 21st century, technological developments have been observed to change the virtual advertising environments. The increase in the conditions of virtual advertising and digital communication environments has also led to the introduction of a concept of interaction of a universal quality in our lives. Specifically, the web environments, starting with the Wold Wide Web, have become a vital component of the social-cultural and economic life link. Therefore, today millions of users, especially every day and every moment, visit their websites as a market area, and many global structure their websites as a trade area. In this context, the use of visual design elements in the web environments known as visual-hearing and technological communication channels has gained importance in the leadership of visuality and in improving functionality. In the study, it was tried to explain how an effective and functional website design should have a visual language and how visual elements should be built in the framework of visual communication. Because when many web environments are designed, it has been observed that the design has not been sufficiently considered and the necessary care has not been shown. The study used the quantum content analysis method, according to the "similarweb" reports from international information technology companies in 2022 the most visited popular website in Turkey, was selected as a sample and studied. The study is of importance for the effective use of visual elements to structure design in web design and for the designers to maintain their design understanding in a dynamic structure.
