Hence the aim of the study was to introduce geographers in academic circles, graduate students in particular, and academic researchers in general, to a unique scientific personality, a geographic stature characterized by its single scientific approach. He still possesses an insightful ability to anticipate the future, armed with a deep understanding of the facts of history and a distinct awareness of the facts of the present. The importance of the study lies in introducing the academic community to the scientific personality of our venerable world and its effective contribution to laying the foundations of contemporary geography in Iraq.
