Introduction and Purpose: This study aims to study the effect of four different composite curve systems on the surface smoothness of three different types of composite curve. Method and Requirements: This study used an anterior (GradiaSO), a posterior (Filtek P60) and a fluid composite (Clearfil Majesty Flow). In each composite group, there will be 40 samples, with a total of 120 samples of 2 mm thickness in 5 mm diameter, prepared using teflon patterns. For each curve system, all the samples were divided into 4 subgroups (n=10). For each composite group, SofLex Disk and SofLex Spiral, Dimanto and IdentoFlex Composite Polishers were used. The prepared composite samples were made smooth with the thickest granium slurry of the Sof-Lex Disk. Then the profile meter device recorded the smoothness values (Ra). Examples were kept in distilled water at room temperature for 24 hours, and the surface smoothness was repeated. Multiple variance analysis (ANOVA) and statistical analysis with Tukey HSD multiple tests (p<0,001) were conducted. FUNCTIONS: All composites are significantly affected by the processes of termination and curling (p<0,001). There was no difference in the smooth composition for all completion and cutting processes. However, the 3M Sof-lex Disk curve set reduced the surface smoothness of both the posterior and anterior composites more than the other curve set (p<0,001). The 3M SofLex Disk set has a similar effect in all composite groups, there is no difference between the composite types (p>0,001). All curve systems were most effective in the Clearfil Majesty Flow (p<0,001). The surface smoothness varies according to both the curve systems and the composite resin materials used in this study. In all the composite groups, the 3M SofLex disc curve set shows more effective results than other systems.
