Bu araştırmanın amacı bireylerin öz-anlayış düzeylerini yükseltmeye yönelik bir psiko-eğitim programı geliştirilmesi ve geliştirilen programın üniversite öğrencileri üzerinde etkililiğinin deneysel olarak sınanmasıdır. Araştırmada deney-kontrol gruplu, ön-test, son-test ve izleme ölçümlü deneysel desen kullanılmış deney grubundaki 13 öğrenciye 8 oturumluk “Bilinçli Öz-Anlayış Programı” uygulanmış, kontrol grubundaki 15 öğrenciye ise herhangi bir deneysel işlem uygulanmamıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak “Öz-Anlayış Ölçeği” ve kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Hipotezlerin test edilmesinde betimsel istatistikler, Wilcoxon Sıralı İşaretler Testi ve Mann Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır. Deneysel işlem öncesinde deney ve kontrol gruplarının öz-anlayış puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı deneysel işlem sonrasında deney grubundaki katılımcıların öz-anlayış puanlarının kontrol grubundaki katılımcılar-dan anlamlı olarak yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Deneysel işlemden bir ay sonra uygulanan izleme ölçümünde deney grubunun son-test puanları ile izleme testi puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlara göre Bilinçli Öz-Anlayış Programı’nın bireylerin öz-anlayış düzeylerini artırmada etkili olduğu söylenebilir.
The purpose of this research is to develop a psycho-educational program aimed at improving individuals' self-understanding levels and experimentally test the impact of the developed program on university students. The study used experimental patterns with experimental-control group, pre-test, final-test and monitoring measurement; 13 students in the experimental group were applied 8 sessions of "conscious self-understanding program" and 15 students in the control group were not applied any experimental process. As a data collection tool, the "self-understanding scale" and personal information forms have been used. The hypotheses were tested using visual statistics, the Wilcoxon sequential signs test and the Mann Whitney U test. Before the experimental process, there was no significant difference between the self-understanding points of the experimental and control groups; after the experimental process, the self-understanding points of the participants in the experimental group were significantly higher than the participants in the control group. In the monitoring measurement applied a month after the experimental process, there was no significant difference between the final test points of the experimental group and the monitoring test points. According to these findings, it can be said that the Conscious Self-Comprehension Program is effective in increasing the level of self-comprehension of individuals.
The aim of this research is to develop a psycho-education program with the intention of increasing the individuals' level of self-compassion and test the aforementioned program's efficiency on the university students. An experimental design with experimental-control groups, pre-test, post-test and follow-up tests is used in the research. Mindful Self-Compassion Program, which is 8 session, is implemented on the experimental group, and for the control group, no experimental procedure is implemented. Self-Compassion Scale, which is developed by Neff and adapted to Turkish by Deniz, Kesici and Sümer, and personal information form, is used as data collection tool. Descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and Mann Whitney U Test were used when testing hypotheses. There is no significant difference between the experimental and control groups' self-compassion scores before the experimental procedure. After the experimental procedure, participants' self-compassion scores in the experimental group were found to be significantly higher than those in the control group. In the follow-up measurement applied one month after the experimental procedure, there was no significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental group and the follow-up test scores. According to these results, it can be said that the Mindful Self-Compassion Program is effective in increasing the self-compassion levels of the individuals.
