İlhanlılar, Cengiz Han’ın torunu Hülegü Han tarafından İran merkezli kurulan şube bir Moğol devletidir. Adını Hülegü’nün kullandığı İlhan unvandan alan devlet, XIII. yüzyılda özellikle Ön Asya’da önemli bir rol üstlenmişti. İran, Irak, Azerbaycan ve Anadolu’da hüküm sürmüş olan İlhanlılar, devrinin en kudretli devletlerinden biri olarak kabul edilmişti. İlhanlılar hâkim olduğu bu coğrafyada önemli siyasî, askerî ve kültürel izler bırakmışlardır. Kurulduğu coğrafya onları sürekli Altın Orda, Çağatay ve Memlûkler gibi devletlerle hâkimiyet mücadelesine sürüklemişti. Bu çalışmamızda Abaka Han dönemi İlhanlılar’ın dış münasebetleri ele alınmıştır. Çalışmamızda öncelikle Abaka Han’ın tahta çıkış sürecini ele aldıktan sonra, yukarıda adı geçen devletlerle olan dış münasebetlerini dönemin ana kaynakları çerçevesinde değerlendireceğiz.
The gods are a branch of a Mongol state established by Hülâgu Han, the grandson of Cengiz Han, based in Iran. The name of the state is used by the title of Hülâgu, XIII. It has played an important role in the past century, especially in Asia. Iran ruled in Iraq, Azerbaijan and Anadolu and was considered one of the most powerful states in the region. The gods have left important political, military and cultural traces in this geography where they ruled. The geography in which he was established has constantly driven them to the struggle of sovereignty with states such as the Golden Orda, the Time and the Country. In this work we discussed the external relationships of the Abaka Han period. In our work, first of all, after discussing Abaka Han’s treasure output process, we will evaluate their external relations with the states mentioned above in the framework of the main sources of the period.
Ilkhanids was a satellite state of Mongols, which was founded in Iran by Hülegü Khan, grandson of Cenghiz Khan. Taking the name from Hülegü's title, the state played an important role especially in Asia Minor in the 13th century. It ruled in Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan and Anatolia and was considered one of the most powerful states of its time in the region. Ilkhanids, have left important political, military and cultural traces in this region. The geography in which it was founded led them to struggle continuously for dominance with the Golden Horde, Chagatai and Mamluks. In this study, the external relations of Ilkhanids, particularly those during Abaka Khan Era were discussed. In our study, we will discuss Abaka Han's process of ascending. Then, we will evaluate the external relations with the above mentioned states within the framework of the main sources of the period.
