In this study, the dynamic behavior of axis-returning symmetrical problems with viscoelastic material was theoretically studied in the Laplace space. The formulation of the final elements for the dynamic load state is made with the Galerkin approach in the Laplace space. The material of the problem is considered isotropic, linear elastic or viscoelastic. The Kelvin-type slurry model is selected for viskoelastic material. In the case of viskoelastic material, with the help of elastic-viskoelastic analogy, the material stages are replaced with complex opponents in the Laplace space. Durbin's modified reverse Laplace conversion method has been used to move to real solutions in time space. For this purpose, a computer program in Fortran is prepared based on the method of final elements for dynamic analysis of the problems of flat stretching/shaping change. The results in this study are also compared to the solutions achieved with the help of Newmark – step-by-step integration method. The Newmark method shows that the sensitivity increases as much as the amount of time increases, but in the solutions made in the Laplace space, the amount of time increases is selected, and the results are not changed.
