Bu çalışmada problem çözme stratejileri ve Web 2.0 araçları ile hazırlanan öğrenme ortamının problem çözme başarılarına etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Deneysel araştırma deseninin benimsendiği çalışma Ege Bölgesi’nde bir devlet üniversitesinin üçüncü sınıfında öğrenim gören 35 ilköğretim matematik öğretmen adayı ile yürütülmüştür. Öğrenme ortamında problem çözme stratejileri ile hazırlanan Web 2.0 destekli etkinlikler 4 hafta boyunca uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonunda Web 2.0 destekli öğrenme ortamında problem çözme stratejileriyle ilgili etkinlikler yapan öğrencilerin problem çözme başarı testindeki başarılarında artış olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bu artışın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olup olmadığını test etmek için, bağımlı örneklemler t testi yapılmıştır Ayrıca uygulama öncesinde öğretmen adayları verilen problemleri sadece geleneksel yöntemleçözme eğilimindeyken uygulama sonrasında, adayların problemleri farklı stratejileri kullanarak çözmeye çalıştıkları gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmada Web 2.0 destekli öğrenme ortamında adaylarla yapılan etkinliklerin, problem çözme başarılarını ve problemlerin çözümünde farklı stratejileri kullanma eğilimlerini olumlu etkilediği görülmüştür.
This study aimed to investigate the impact of a learning environment that incorporated problem-solving strategies and Web 2.0 tools on the problem-solving achievement of pre-service elementary mathematics teachers. The study was conducted with 35 participants from a state university in the Aegean Region. Over a period of 4 weeks, the participants engaged in activities supported by Web 2.0 tools and focused on problem-solving strategies. The findings revealed that those who took part in these activities demonstrated an improvement in their problem-solving achievements. The increase was found to be statistically significant through a dependent samples t-test. Prior to the intervention, the pre-service teachers tended to approach problems using traditional methods, but after the intervention, they were observed trying different strategies for problem solving. Overall, the activities conducted in the Web 2.0 supported learning environment positively impacted the participants' problem-solving success and their inclination to employ diverse strategies in problem solving.
