Amaç: Spence, Helmrich ve Stapp (1978) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Kadınlara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği - Kısa Sürümünün (Attitudes Towards Women Scale – Short Version) kadınlarla iletişim içinde olan, onlara bakım ve hizmet veren meslek elemanları (sosyal hizmet uzmanları, psikologlar, psikolojik danışmanlar vb.) için uyarlamasını yapmaktır. Yöntem: Kadınlara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Türkçe formu, yaşları 18 ile 53 arasında değişen (ort=33,76 ss=8,43) 119'u kadın ve 24'ü erkek olmak üzere birinci ve ikinci basamak sağlık kuruluşlarında çalışan doktor, psikolog, sosyal hizmet uzmanı ve ebe/hemşire meslek elemanlarından oluşan 143 sağlık personeli üzerinde uygulanarak güvenirliği ve geçerliği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bulgular: Ölçeğin güvenirliği için test-tekrar test yöntemi kullanılmış ve ölçeği oluşturan maddelerin iç tutarlılığını veren Cronbach Alpha Katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. SPSS 11.5 ile maddelerin içtutarlılık katsayısı 0.887 olarak belirlenmiştir. Test-tekrar test yöntemi ve içtutarlılık katsayısının her ikisi de yüksek bulunmuş ve bu nedenle Kadınlara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’nin güvenilir olduğu kabul edilmiştir. Geçerlilik ölçümü için ise dil geçerliliği ve yapı geçerliliğinde faktör analizi yapılmış olup özdeğerleri 1.00’ın üzerinde bir bileşenin olduğu görülmüştür. Bu bulgu ölçeğin tek boyutlu orijinal formuyla uyumlu olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç: Kadınlara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’ni oluşturan maddelerin istendik özelliklerde olması, ölçeğin güvenirliğinin ve geçerliğinin yüksek olması, bu ölçeğin Türkiye’de yaşayan bireylerin kadınlara yönelik tutumlarını belirlemede kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir. Ölçeğin bu özelliklerinin orijinal haliyle benzerlik göstermesi, Türkçe formunun Türkiye’de de kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir.

Method: The measurement of attitude towards women, the Turkish form, the age varies from 18 to 53 (ort=33,76; ss=8,43) 119 of the doctors, psychologists, social services experts and parents/healthcare professionals who work in the first and second stages of health institutions, including women and 24 men, have been attempted to determine reliability and validity by applying to 143 health personnel. Results: The test-up test method was used for the reliability of the scale and the Cronbach Alpha Scale was calculated for the internal consistency of the substances that form the scale. With SPSS 11.5, the intolerance rate of substances is 0.887. Both the test-up test method and the intolerance rate were high and therefore the attitude scale towards women was considered to be reliable. For validity measurement, the language validity and structural validity factor analysis were made and the equivalents were found to be more than a component than 1.00. This finding shows that the scale is compatible with the original one-dimensional form. The result: the substance that forms the attitude scale to women is in the desired characteristics, the reliability and validity of the scale is high, this scale can be used in determining the attitudes of individuals living in Turkey to women. The appearance of these characteristics of the scale is similar to the original, indicating that the Turkish form can also be used in Turkey.
Aim: The aim is the adaptation of the Attitudes Towards Women Scale - Short Version to Turkish developed by Spence, Helmrich and Stapp (1978) for the professional staff (social workers, psychologists, psychological counsellors, etc.) who work with women. Method: The reliability and validity of the Attitude Scale Towards Women, Turkish form version has been tested on 119 women and 24 men to 143 health personnel, social workers, midwives and nurses who work at primary and secondary health institutions, whose ages range from 18 to 53 years (avg = 33.76; sd = 8.43). Results: For the reliability of the scale, the test-retest method was used and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated. The internal consistency coefficient of the items was determined as 0.887 with SPSS 11.5. Both the test-retest method and the internal consistency coefficient were found to be high, and therefore, the Attitude Scale Towards Women is considered to be reliable. For validity, the factor validity and construct validity were analysed and an eigenvalue of more than 1.00 was observed. This finding shows that the scale is compatible with the one-dimensional original form. Conclusion: The fact that the items that constitute the Attitude Scale Towards Women have the desired characteristics and that it has high validity and reliability shows that this scale can be used to determine attitudes towards women on individuals living in Turkey. These features resemble the original form of the scale and shows that the Turkish form can be used in Turkey.
