Abstract:

The aim of the study is to determine the attitudes of high school students towards the environment. In the study, a cutting-edge scan model was used from quantum research methods. The sample of the study is composed of 295 students (148 girls, 147 men) who are studying in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th classes of 5 different state high schools in the second half of the 2017-2018 educational-educational year in Aydın ili Kuyucak district. The data in the study was collected with the Environmental Attitude Scale for High School students developed by Yücel and Özkan (2014). While the data is analyzed, the Mann Whitney U Test in the gender-based change of students’ attitudes towards the environment, the Kruskall-Wallis Test in the class level and the father’s education level, the mother’s education level, the one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) in the change. Consequently, there is a significant difference in students’ attitudes towards the environment according to the class level, the mother’s education level and the father’s education level. It is also recommended to get out of the work findings.
