Sınıf öğretmenliği uzmanlık gerektiren bir meslektir. Sınıf öğretmenleri, ilkokul düzeyindeki çocukları birinci sınıftan dördüncü sınıfa kadar okuma yazma, aritmetik, anadil eğitimi, bilişsel beceriler, sosyal gelişim vb pek çok alanda bilgi, beceri ve tutum geliştirmesine rehberlik ederler. Sınıf öğretmenleri çocuklarla günün altı ders saatini beraber geçirdikleri uzman kişilerdir. Dört yılı da dikkate alınırsa bir çocuk için sınıf öğretmeninin yeri çok önemlidir. Mesleğini seven, çocuklarla güçlü iletişim kurabilen, motivasyonu yüksek öğretmenlerin geleceğin mimarı çocuklarımızı katkısının yüksek olacağı söylenebilir. Sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirme politikaları cumhuriyetten günümüze pek çok değişikliklere uğramıştır. Köye farklı öğretmen yetiştirme programları deneyimlenmiştir. Köy enstitüleri de bu deneyimler içinde en önde olan modellerdendir. Öyle bir toplumsal sistem olsun ki içinde yaşayan vatandaşlar hiçbir soruna sahip olmasın. Böyle bir düzen mümkün olmamakla birlikte öğretmenlerin yaşadıkları sorunlar zaman içinde farklılıklar göstermektedir. Bu sorunların tanımlanması mesleğe ilişkin gelinen noktayı anlamak açısından önem arz etmektedir. İlgili çalışmada sınıf öğretmeni olan toplam kırk yedi tane sınıf öğretmeniyle çalışılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin tüm meslek yaşamında yaşadıkları sorunları dile getirmeleri istenmiştir. Raporlaştırılan sorunlar belli temalar altında sunulmuştur. Öğretmen görüşlerinden örnek alıntılara da yer verilmiştir.

Class teaching is a profession that requires expertise. Class teachers guide children at primary school level to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in many fields, from first to fourth, reading and writing, arithmetic, maternal education, cognitive skills, social development, etc. Class teachers are specialists who spend six hours of the day with children. If four years are taken into account, the place of the class teacher is very important for a child. It can be said that high-motivated teachers who love their profession, who are able to communicate strongly with children, the contribution of the future architect our children will be high. The teachers’ education policy has undergone many changes from the Republic to the present day. The village has experienced different teachers training programs. The countryside institutes are among the leading models in these experiences. A social system that the citizens living there should not have any problems. While such an order is not possible, the problems that teachers experience are different over time. Identification of these problems is important to understand the point related to the profession. There were a total of 47 class teachers who worked with the class teacher. Teachers are asked to express the problems they have experienced in their entire professional life. The issues have been presented under certain topics. Examples of the teacher’s views are also given.

Classroom teaching is a profession that requires expertise. Classroom teachers guide primary school children to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in many areas such as literacy, numeracy, mother tongue education, cognitive skills, social development, etc. from the first to the fourth grade. Classroom teachers are specialists with whom children spend six lesson hours a day. Considering all four years, the place of the classroom teacher is very important for a child. It can be said that teachers who love their profession, can communicate strongly with children and are highly motivated will have a high contribution to our children, who are the architects of the future. Classroom teacher training policies have undergone many changes from the republic to the present. Different teacher training programs have been experienced in the village. Village institutes are among the leading models among these experiences. Let there be such a social system that the citizens living in it will not have any problems. Although such an order is not possible, the problems experienced by teachers vary over time. The definition of these problems is important in terms of understanding the point reached regarding the profession. In the related study, a total of forty-seven classroom teachers were studied. Teachers were asked to express the problems they experienced in their entire professional life. The reported problems are presented under certain themes. Sample quotations from teacher opinions are also included.
