Abstract:

The social criticism that Mizah has continued throughout human history is also seen in the function of jokes. The jokes that take the role of the mirror of society are public stories that reflect the traditions, traditions, cultural, material and spiritual values and transmit to the next generations. Besides laughing, jokes have functions such as educating people, entertaining, teaching, training, criticising unwanted behaviors and situations. Types of jokes are typically types that appear around a particular type, gain the ability to represent a particular social environment, group or behavior, and most people in the surrounding area highlight different aspects, either known throughout the world or only in some small places. One of these kinds and serving as officials, mufti and pastors in different provinces and districts of Turkey and still known in those regions and the jokes are told by the Mufti Uyanık, while laughing the society in their jokes gives important messages to the society. The Mufti Awakening, known for being awake as preparation and surname, on the one hand encourages people to have fun and enjoy the time while on the other hand defends moral and social values by expressing the poor aspects of society, the lack of people in an ironic language. Those who corrupt the religion around them, who behave unjustly, who use the authority for their own interests, who are stupid, liar, material-loved, put the people to the ground with the power of humor. He is a type of repressive rulers, who defend the people against authority, who criticizes those who do not possess social values such as courtesy, cleansing, hospitality, family, who punishes those who do unjust.
