Abstract:

The aim of this research is to investigate the attitudes of teachers working in professional and technical high schools towards distance learning. The main element of this structure, especially in unusual times, which is not possible for the educational system, is to identify the viewpoints of teachers towards remote education and to provide a solution to this. Remote learning has been developed as an alternative to traditional learning methods in various parts of the world. From March 2020, remote education, which holds the world and our country a very important place in education in the process of the pandemicovid-19, will keep its importance even more in the future. Today, most educational institutions provide education-learning services with remote teaching programs. In the study, first of all, the previous studies on the subject were given information about the perspectives of the teachers examined on the distance education. A survey of 312 teachers was implemented in order to investigate the behavior of teachers working in professional and technical high schools toward distance education. In this study, with the aim of determining the levels of attitude of teachers working in professional and technical high schools towards distance learning, the "search model" was used. The study found that all teachers involved in the study were aware of distance learning. Therefore, there are no findings about this research problem identified at the beginning of the research. The reason for such a conclusion is the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic process, which has struck the world, resulted in the fact that all teachers used distance learning practically.
