The expulsion of the Romans in Ardu-Unye with the Greek-Turkish exchange in 1924 led to the emptiness of their workplaces. From the advanced entrepreneurs of the period, Ilyasoğlu Ahmet Yıldız, investigated those who understood cementwork to operate workshops and reached the Ellibeş family who migrated from Artvin-Borçka to Trabzon's Of district during the 93 Harbi (1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War). This family, other relatives living in Borçka, was invited to Unnye to raise new crops and masters. The efforts to rebuild the unified grass has been successful and the demand for the products produced by the workshops has increased. Borçkalı grassmasters, since 1927, have grown new grassmasters and their masters and have long been influential on Unnye grassmasters. With all these efforts, Unnye became an important straw production and sales center between the years 1927-1980. But the appearance of cheap industrial products and the spread of their use has led to the disappearance of most of the crafts. The problem of economic sustainability that this process revealed has also brought the end to the unification. A field research has been conducted for the study of the Unnye stumbling that has been of importance for the Eastern Black Sea region for a long time. With the information obtained in the study, it was intended to investigate and document the characteristics of the Unnye stumbling that were re-formed by the Misters of Borçkalı after 1927.
