HALK OYUNLARI BÖLÜMÜNDE ÖĞRENİM GÖREN ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN COVİD-19 PANDEMİ DÖNEMİNDE PSİKOLOJİK DAYANIKLILIK DÜZEYLERİNİN FARKLI DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de farklı üniversitelerde halk oyunları bölümünde öğrenim gören öğrencilerinin psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırma pandemi sürecinde 2019/2020 eğitim ve öğretim yılında farklı üniversitelerin halk oyunları bölümünde öğrenim gören 195 erkek ve 229 kadın olmak üzere toplam 424 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri Terzi (2016) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından belirlenen Covid-19 ile ilgili yargılarını belirlemek amacıyla hazırlanan bilgi formu ile toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerin belirlemede frekans dağılımı, iki bağımsız değişken ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasındaki farklılaşmayı incelemek için “Bağımsız Örneklemler için T-testi”, ikiden fazla değişkenler ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasındaki farklılaşmayı incelemek için “Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi” ve öğrencilerin yaşları ve sportif aktivite süreleri ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla “Pearson korelasyon” analizleri uygulanmıştır. Bütün bu testler SPSS 21 paket programında analiz edilmiş ve anlamlılık düzeyi p<,05 olarak alınmıştır. Öğrencilerin psikolojik dayanıklılık ölçeği alt boyutları ile yerleşim merkezleri, Covid-19 hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olma, Covid-19 hakkında yetkililerin kendilerinin yeteri kadar bilgilendirdiğini düşünme, Covid-19'a karşı yeteri kadar önlem alma, kısıtlamalara rağmen sportif aktivite yapma durumları arasında anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin haftalık toplam spor yapma süreleri ile psikolojik dayanıklılık ölçeği alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Students at the University Students at the COVID-19 PANDEMY Period examining the levels of psychological resilience from different variables

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the levels of psychological resilience of students studying in the public games department at different universities in Turkey and to study the different variables in terms of the study. The research was conducted in the pandemic process with a total of 424 students, including 195 men and 229 women, who studied in the public games department of different universities in the 2019/2020 educational and educational year. The data of the study was collected with the information form developed by Terzi (2016) to determine the psychological resistance scale and the judgments related to Covid-19 determined by the researcher. In the determination of demographic characteristics of students, the frequency distribution, the "T-test for independent samples" for the study of the differences between two independent variables and psychological resistance, the "One-Right Variant Analysis" for the study of the differences between more than two variables and psychological resistance, and the "Pearson Correlation" analysis for the purpose of determining the relationship between the age and sports activity periods of students and psychological resistance. All of these tests were analyzed in the SPSS 21 package program and the meaning level was taken as p<,05. It has been found that there are significant differences between the scale of psychological resistance of students and the settlement centers, having sufficient knowledge about Covid-19, thinking that the authorities are informed enough about Covid-19, taking sufficient measures against Covid-19, doing sports activities despite restrictions. It has been found that there is a meaningful relationship in the positive direction between the total weekly exercise hours of students and the lower dimensions of the psychological resilience scale.

The aim of this study is; Determining the level of resilience in students studying in different universities in Turkey and folk dance departments is analyzed in terms of different variables. The research was conducted during the pandemic process with a total of 424 students, 195 male and 229 female, studying at the folk dance department of different universities in the 2019/2020 academic year. The data of the study were collected with the Psychological Resilience Scale developed by Terzi (2016) and the information form prepared by the researcher to determine their judgments about Covid-19. Frequency distribution in determining students 'demographic characteristics, "T-test for Independent Samples" to examine the differentiation between the two independent variables and psychological resilience, "One-Way Analysis of Variance" to examine the differentiation between more than two variables and psychological resilience, and students' ages and sports activity durations. "Pearson correlation" analyzes were used to determine the relationship between psychological resilience. All these tests were analyzed in SPSS 21 package program and the level of significance was taken as p <.05. Significant differences between students' psychological resilience scale sub-dimensions and residential centers, having enough information about Covid-19, thinking that the authorities have informed them enough about Covid-19, taking enough precautions against Covid-19, doing sports activities despite restrictions it has been determined. It was found that there is a positive significant relationship between the total weekly exercise time of the students and sub-dimensions of the psychological endurance scale.
