Bu yazıda Lütfi Akad’ın sinema düşüncesini roman türüyle olan ilişkisi üzerinden değerlendirmeye, onun düşüncesinin ve filmlerinin oluştuğu Yeşilçam sineması içerisindeki konumunu ortaya koymaya ve Akad sineması ile Yeşilçam arasındaki ilişkileri göstermeye çalıştım. Bunun için de Walter Benjamin’in Hikaye Anlatıcısı metninde hikaye anlatıcılığı ile romancılık arasında kurduğu karşıtlığı Yeşilçam sinemasının ana akımını üretenler ile Akad arasındaki ayrımı çözümlemek için kullandım. Yeşilçam sinemasında ana akım melodramatik bir tasavvur ekseninde gelişirken Akad’ın sinema anlayışında roman düşüncesi her zaman önemli yer tutar. Sinemanın romanın bir türü olması gerektiğini düşünen bir “romancı” yönetmen olarak Akad, sinema alanında Yeşilçam’ın hikaye anlatıcılarından farklı bir konum elde eder. Bu konum ona entelektüel saygınlık sağlasa da aynı zamanda onun Yeşilçam kolektifini içerisinde yalnız bir figüre dönüşmesine de sebep olur. Yeşilçam sinemasının oluşum, gelişim ve olgunluk dönemlerinde Yeşilçam’ın şartlarına göre Akad’ın konumu da farklılaşmıştır. Akad da bu farklılaşmalara kendi tekamülü içerisinde farklı karşılıklar üreterek sinema kariyerini oluşturmuştur. Bu da önceleri oluşum aşamasındaki Yeşilçam dahilinde bir sinema dili kurmak, politik atmosferin yoğunlaştığı süreçte romansal gerçekçilik üzerinden eleştirel bir söylem geliştirmek ve nihayetinde sinemanın olgunluk döneminde bu dil ve söylem yoluyla Türk insanının dramını anlatmak yolunu tutmuştur.
In this article, I tried to evaluate Lütfi Akad’s film thinking through his relationship with the novel genre, to show his thoughts and films about his position in the Green Cinema where he was formed and to show the relations between the Akad Cinema and the Green Cinema. For this, I used the contrast between the narrative and romanticism of Walter Benjamin's Story Talk in the text to resolve the difference between the producers of the main stream of the Green Cinema and the Akad. While the main stream in the Green Cinema develops in a melodramatic drawing axis, the novel thought always holds an important place in Akad's film understanding. As a "romanist" director who thinks that the cinema should be a kind of novel, Akad gets a different position in the film field than Greşilçam's narrators. This position gives him intellectual reputation, but it also causes him to become a single figure within the Green Collective. In the formation, development and maturity periods of the Green Cinema, according to the conditions of the Green Cinema, the position of the Akad has also varied. He also created a film career by producing different rewards in his own spectrum for these differences. This has initially led to the establishment of a cinema language within the Greenland in the formation phase, the development of a critical speech through romantic realism in the process in which the political atmosphere is concentrated, and ultimately, in the film’s maturity period, the drama of the Turkish people through this language and speech.
