Abstract:

Introduction: CoolSense is a local anesthetic method that can be used in any age and in any injection application. It is sufficient to hold the area to be processed for five seconds to ensure the pain-relieving effect. As long as it is stored in the freezer section, it is ready for use immediately and can be reused. It is a method that is easy to use because it has an anesthetic effect in a short time, does not contain any chemicals and does not require preparation for use. Purpose: The purpose of the collection is to study the studies used by the CoolSense method. Tools and Methods: The date limit has not been reached in order to get to the subject-related studies, and the "CoolSense" keyword has been scaned in the "PubMed", "PUB", "ProQuest" and "Science Direct" databases. Only the full-text work has been included in the collection. Results: The scan results have only reached three different publications. One of them was left out of the work scope because it was a letter to the editor. One of the other two editions is the study of pain in the process of intravenous canulation in children, and one in adults in the process of finger sugar measurement. These studies have found that the CoolSense method has a pain-reducing effect and that patients and companions are pleased with this method. The conclusion: The scan of the literature under the study found that the work on the CoolSense method was not enough to be destroyed. It is recommended that the effectiveness of CoolSense, which is an important method for both easy and not time-consuming, be assessed by more studies.
