Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the views of parents, students and teachers on the problems in the primary school application with the transported system in Antalya or Korkuteli rural area. According to the purpose, the research was carried out in the internal single state study model. In the study, the data was collected through a semi-configured interview form, observation and document analysis. The semi-structured interview forms are applied to ten teachers who work at the Barbaros Primary School, who educate as a transport center in the Korkuteli rural in the 2019-2020 educational year, to twelve students who go to the fourth grade and to twelve student guardians.  The data obtained is subject to thematic content analysis. The study found that the problems of education in the Korkuteli countryside were addressed under two topics: problems outside the school and problems within the school.  It is also the third topic in the research on the solution of problems.  Problems outside the school are important in order; service vehicles and service drivers, communication, physical disorders seen in students, climate conditions and problems related to distance. Problems within the school are divided into three sub-themes, such as problems within and outside the classroom. Problems with school resources are, respectively, physical capacity deficiency, food, hygiene and cleaning problems. Problems in the classroom in transported education are shown in the form of a decrease in student success, a lack of attention in students, a decrease in motivation and continuity and delay. At the beginning of the problems that occur outside the classroom in transported education, primary school students are expected 1 hour 20 minutes from the time of completion of the classroom to the time of completion of the classroom. The incapacity of transferred students to participate in non-class activities and the labor burden and responsibility brought by the education transferred to teachers appeared as problems that occur outside the classroom. In order to solve the problems, participants suggested that the possibilities of the existing school should be improved by opening the school in the village, going to closer schools or combining closer schools.
