Çalışmanın amacı okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterlilikleri ile medya ve teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden korelasyonel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Tekirdağ İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı resmi okul ve kurumlarda görev yapan toplam 852 okul yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, evreni temsilen basit tesadüfi örneklem alma yolu izlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Tekirdağ ilinde görev yapan 326 okul yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Banoğlu (2012) tarafından geliştirilen “Eğitim Yöneticilerinin Teknoloji Liderliği Yeterlilikleri Ölçeği” ile Özgür (2016) tarafından geliştirilen “Medya ve Teknoloji Kullanımı ve Tutumları Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin ve alt boyutlarının normallik dağılımları incelerek, verilerin analizinde kullanılacak istatistiksel yöntemler belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, verilerin analizinde normal dağılım varsayımına dayanan istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde t testi, tek faktörlü varyans analizi, post-hoc çoklu karşılaştırma teknikleri ve korelasyon analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterliliklerinin “yüksek” düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin medya ve teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumları ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından Telefon Görüşmesi Yapma ve E-Posta Kullanımı boyutlarını “Günde birkaç kez”; Akıllı Telefon Kullanımı, Kısa Mesaj (SMS) Kullanımı boyutlarını “Günde bir kez”; İnternette Araştırma Yapma ve Genel Sosyal Ağ Kullanımı boyutlarını ise “Hafta bir kez” kullandıkları görülmektedir. Okul yöneticilerinin teknoloji liderliği yeterlilikleri ölçeğinin tüm boyutları ile okul yöneticilerinin medya, teknoloji kullanımı ve tutumları ölçeğinin alt boyutlarından; “Akıllı Telefon Kullanımı”, “Genel Sosyal Ağ Kullanımı”, “E-Posta Kullanımı”, “Sosyal Ağ Arkadaşlığı”, “Teknolojiye Yönelik Olumlu Tutum” ve “Görevler Arası Geçiş Tercihleri” boyutları ile arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde ve “Medya Paylaşımı” boyutu ile pozitif yönde düşük düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of the study is to study the relationship between the technology leadership skills of school managers and the use and attitudes of media and technology. In this study, a correlational research model was used from quantum research models. The universe of research is composed of a total of 852 school managers who work in the official schools and institutions connected to Tekirdağ Provincial National Education Directorate. The research has followed the way of simple random sampling representing the universe. The examples of the study are made up of 326 school managers working in Tekirdağ province. Data collection has been used by Banoğlu (2012) with the "Technology Leadership Qualifications Scale of Educational Managers" developed by Free (2016) with the "Media and Technology Use and Attitudes Scale". By studying the normal distribution of scales and subdimensions, statistical methods to be used in the analysis of data have been determined. According to the results obtained, statistical methods based on the presumption of normal distribution were used in the analysis of data. In data analysis, t test, one-factor variance analysis, post-hoc multi-comparation techniques and correlation analysis techniques were used. The research has found that school managers’ technology leadership skills are at a “high” level. School managers use media and technology and attitudes from the lower dimensions of the scale of Telephone Conversation and E-mail Use dimensions "a few times a day"; Smart Phone Use, Short Message (SMS) Use dimensions "one time a day"; Research on the Internet and General Social Network Use dimensions "one time a week" are used.
