Developing and expanding communication technologies, it has opened a new field of individuals to express their identity through social media. Social media accounts that made intensive literary exchange is an example of the representation of identity. In this study, association with the literary representation of identity sharing of Sociology students at the Afyon Kocatepe University were investigated. The relationship between the sharing of intellectual identity creation and exhibiting were investigated. In this study was drawn primarily theoretical framework on the development of social media and identity presentation. Later research findings are discussed. This study is designed as a qualitative research and in-depth interview technique was used. Participants were asked at the pre-interview, open-ended questions. As a result of these interviews, it has been seen that the information of the individuals in literature is generally confined to social media. Shares made by participants are not the result of literary readings. This is the result of the sharing of literary expressions copied over the internet.
