Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify English Teachers’ opinions on the impact of the application of the reverse-face learning model in foreign language education. Unlike traditional learning, the reverse-face learning model is defined as a group discussion and evaluation of the information that students obtain from previously provided videos and similar resources in their homes and the information they obtain in order to make the time spent in the classroom more efficient. The examples of the research done according to the situation study model from the quality research methods are made by a total of 20 English teachers who work in a private school in Istanbul or Sarıyer district. The data of the research was obtained through a structured interview. Structured conversations consisted of 14 questions created to determine the views of English teachers on the influence of the reverse-face learning model on foreign language education. In data analysis, the content analysis method is used and the data obtained is classified in the light of different codes, converting them into themes. According to the results obtained, participants have the advantages, disadvantages of the reverse learning model, the difficulties in the course planning, the resources provided within and outside the classroom and the various views and experiences in the context of measurement and evaluation.
