Abstract:

One of the scientists who contributed to the academic development of the Turkish education field is Prof. Dr. Osman Gündüz. During the day, his theoretical works and contributed to the understanding of the role of basic language skills in the process of mother tongue education. The h-index ratio of the day is 9, the number of references it receives for all publications is 548 . In this study, the aim is to determine the scientific portrait of Dr. Osman Gündüz. Scientific portrait studies are a data-oriented study approach that takes into account scientific indicators. In the study, bibliometric analysis and reference analysis techniques were used. The data sources of the study are the detailed CV and Google Academic search engine obtained from Prof. Dr. Osman Gündüz. The data related to postgraduate thesis consultancy is accessed from the database of the YÖK National Thesis Center. According to the findings achieved in the study, it has been concluded that the day is a model of a positive role for academic production and statistics and young researchers.
