Abstract:

The reward system is a basic and primary object of any organization. Employee performance is also dependent variable and the reward system is independent variable. Therefore, reward system can increase the employee performance of any organization. In human resources is consider as a strategic asset in any organization. The object of this study to illustrate to what extent does employee reward have an impact on employee performance in a public sector organization in Sri Lanka, therefor this study has examine the relationship between extrinsic reward and also intrinsic reward and employee performance in any organization, the data collected by various way, the result is positive relationship between extrinsic reward and intrinsic and employee performance. Significance data of reward system and relationship between employee performance and reward system. This study is analyze and interpreted the current study of motivation. Key Words: Employee Performance, Intrinsic Reward, Extrinsic Reward.
