Abstract:

Decision making and implementing is a vital process that spend time and invest in. Multi-criteria decision-making methods for successful solutions to the decision-making problem with systematic and logical approaches support decision makers. The forest products entered the furniture industry within the industrial sector, the output obtained and the cause of the advance and back connections it has the most intense production structure of the sector.  In the furniture industry, which has to work with a lot of suppliers, the choice of suppliers is extremely important and essential for success. This study aims to evaluate the most suitable supplier selection process with the Analytical Hierarchy Method (AHY-AHP) in a furniture factory operating in the Trabzon Organized Industrial Area. With the statistical analysis made with the help of the main and sub-criteria specified, suppliers were ranked and appropriate recommendations for the furniture factory were developed.
