İnsanın büyüme ve gelişme dönemi birçok canlıdan farklı olarak hayatının uzunca bir kısmını kapsamaktadır. Büyüme ve gelişmedöneminde yaşamın diğer bölümlerinde görülmeyen hızlı psikolojik, fizyolojik, morfolojik değişimler gözlenir. Bu hızlı değişimler zaman zaman vücudun değişik bölümleri arasındaki oran ve orantılarda da farklılıklara yol açar. Araştırmamızda bu bilgiler ışığında ergenlik döneminde vücudun farklı bölümlerinin büyüme ve gelişmesi ile bunlar arasındaki ilişkilerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Ankara’da yaşayan üst sosyoekonomik düzey 10–17 yaş grubu 393’ü kız 393’ü erkek toplam 786 öğrenci araştırmamız kapsamına dâhil edilmiştir. Kesitsel (cross-sectional) yöntem ile veri toplanan araştırmamızda antropometri tekniği kullanılarak büst yüksekliği, alttaraf uzunluğu, omuz genişliği ve kalça genişliği ölçüleri incelenmiştir. Ölçüler alınırken International Biological Programme (IBP) ve Anthropometric Standardization Reference Manual’ın (ASRM) öngördüğü teknikler referans alınmıştır. Alan araştırmasının tamamlanmasının ardından bilgisayar ortamına aktarılan veriler SPSS 13.0 ve KaleidaGraph 3.51 programlarının ilgili fonksiyonlarıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmamızda yaş artışına bağlı olarak alınan antropometrik değişkenlerin tamamında artış gözlenmiştir. Ergenlik dönemi ile hız kazanan bu artış, vücut oranlarındaki değişimleri de beraberinde getirmektedir. Büst yüksekliği ve alttaraf uzunluğu ölçüleri kızlarda ve erkeklerde farklı bir büyüme ve gelişme seyri izlemekte, büst yüksekliğinin 10 yaşından yaklaşık 14 yaşına, alttaraf uzunluğunun ise yaklaşık 13 yaşına kadar kızlarda daha yüksek değerlere sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Genişlik ölçülerinin cinsiyetler arasındaki farkı uzunluk ölçülerine göre daha iyi yansıttığı, omuz genişliğinin erkekler, kalça genişliğinin ise kızlar için cinsiyete özgü karakteristikler olarak daha ön plana çıktığı saptanmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucuna göre kızlarda ve erkeklerde yaş artışına bağlı olarak antropometrik değişkenler arasında anlamlı ilişkiler tespit edilmiştir
The period of human growth and development, unlike many living beings, covers a long part of his life. In the period of growth and development, rapid psychological, physiological, and morphological changes are not observed in other parts of life. These rapid changes occasionally lead to differences in proportions and proportions between different parts of the body. In our research, this information is aimed at revealing the growth and development of different parts of the body during adolescence and the relationships between them. For this purpose, the top socio-economic level of 10-17 age groups in Ankara, 393 girls, 393 men, a total of 786 students were included in our research. In our research collected data by cross-sectional (cross-sectional) method, we used anthropometric technique to study the measurements of bust height, bottom length, shoulder width and thumb width. The measurements are referred to by the International Biological Programme (IBP) and the Anthropometric Standardization Reference Manual (ASRM). After the completion of the field research, the data transmitted to the computer environment was evaluated with the relevant functions of the SPSS 13.0 and KaleidaGraph 3.51. Our study has observed an increase in all the anthropometric variables taken depending on age growth. This increase in speed with the adolescence period brings with it changes in body rates. The measurements of the bust height and lower length follow a different growth and development path in girls and boys, the bust height is seen to have higher values in girls from 10 to about 14 years old, and the lower length is seen to have higher values in girls from about 13 years old. It has been found that the width measurements better reflect the difference between sexes than the length measurements, the width of the shoulder is more advanced for men, and the width of the back is more advanced for girls as gender-specific features. According to the results of the analysis, significant relationships between anthropometric variables have been identified in girls and boys due to age growth.
