According to the generally accepted classification, spinal tumors are termed epidural, paravertebral, and bone-derived tumors irrespective of the tissue from which they originate. Aneurysmal bone cysts are rare and benign lesions of primary tumors of the spine. Pain is the earliest symptom, followed by neurological loss resulting from the spread of the immune system to the surrounding tissues and compression of the spinal canal. Aneurysmal bone cysts are most often seen in the first two decades, and relatively less common as age progresses. Here we present a case of a 15-year-old patient with an aneurysmal bone cyst who initially presented with pain followed by paresis after 1 week and delayed the diagnosis.
